The home of the one and only… WunderBox!

Perhaps you’re curious about the charming diorama you just spotted in someone’s front yard..? Or, perhaps you’ve decided to add a little playfulness into your own neighbourhood..?

Below you’ll find all you need to know about creating your own street side scenes of Wunder.

But, what is
The WunderBox?

The WunderBox is a miniature gallery space where craft, dioramas, and other small wonders, can be displayed for the enjoyment of passers-by.

It is manufactured from top quality, hardwearing materials - powder coated steel (to handle the elements), a removable stage (to take inside while you set up your display), and a perspex window (so that folk can stop and enjoy the scenes within).

It is roughly the size of a large letterbox, comes in a variety of curated colours, and… it was thought up, designed, and even made, in Melbourne’s friendly ‘Inner North’!

So, why should
I get one?

Because it’s fun! That’s the main reason.

Or perhaps (like us), you have a slight obsession with things of a smaller scale… or want to brighten up your street and add a spark of joy and connection to your community.

The WunderBox isn’t just for fancy model makers. It’s an opportunity to add more colour to the world, knowing that it’s bound to make someone else smile.

Trinkets discovered in opp shops… shells and seedpods borrowed from nature… papercraft, felting, modelling clay. Once you start looking, you’ll find there are creative props everywhere.

Well, where can I get mine?

Each WunderBox costs $460, which includes the powder coated box (in your chosen colour), as well as the iridescent, translucent stage.

We’re small ourselves, and keeping everything low tech for now, so please message us on our contact form and we’ll be happy to make a plan.
